About The Springs Microgreens


The Springs Microgreens was born in 2019 when Farmer Daven decided to leave the hectic world of commercial cleaning to reconnect with his roots. Born into a lineage of frontiersmen, cultivating produce has been a family tradition for generations. With modern urban farming techniques, growing nutrient-dense food has become increasingly sustainable. Daven kickstarted his business by providing live, specialty microgreens to local fine-dining establishments in Colorado Springs. An avid athlete, he spends his summers mountain biking and winters skiing, embodying a holistic, healthy, and vibrant lifestyle. His products are designed for those seeking to live healthily. In 2023, inspired by the need for convenience, Daven began developing a shelf-stable product by dehydrating microgreens into a versatile powder for drinks, smoothies, or capsules. This effort culminated in 2024 with the creation of the "Vitality Booster," a capsule blend of Pea Tendril, Broccoli, Radish, and Cilantro microgreens. In 2025, he introduced this innovative product to the market, aiming to offer a sustainable, healthy option not just to Colorado but beyond.


Joining forces with Daven is Franky, another Colorado native with a unique passion for understanding and optimizing systems. Franky's inspiration comes from analyzing the intricacies of the world, which he expresses through storytelling with photography and videography. His technical prowess is evident as a computer science student who develops digital tools to streamline business operations. Like Daven, Franky values health, channeling his energy into rock climbing.

Together, Daven and Franky aim to narrate a tale of living a full, healthy, and inspired life. The Springs Microgreens embodies their shared vision of promoting the benefits of a wholesome lifestyle to all.
